ENGINEERING IDEAS INTO REALITY

FROM CHALLENGE TO DELIVERY

Install AI and IoT system for factory

Our AI and IoT installation service puts AI cameras, sensors and field measurement stations into use at real sites. We survey the location, install hardware and software, then test against acceptance criteria agreed in the Scope of Work.

Suitable for: Factories or organizations that have equipment but no installation team, need cameras or sensors to work with existing power and networks, or require multiple installation points, such as production-line workstations or riverside water-level stations

What should be planned before installing a part-inspection system?

Before installing a part-inspection system, define the space required, camera, lighting and control-cabinet positions, and power and network connections. In 2019–2020, we designed, built and tested 1 MVDeep prototype that used a robotic arm to position cameras, lenses and lights around a part, under a Thai government prototype machinery development project. It showed that preset camera and lighting positions must be checked against actual parts, because that version had no automatic positioning system. Your installation project therefore starts with checking the space and equipment positions together with the site team.

What to prepare for an assessment

  • Installation locations and site photographs, including the number of installation points
  • Existing systems, power, network and permitted working hours

Scope, schedule and pricing

Assessed by the number of points, equipment, distances and site constraints

Before work starts, our proposal sets out the schedule, inclusions, exclusions and costs. Additional work requires a joint scope assessment.

Technical capabilities we have developed

  • Survey, design and install equipment, and develop software to integrate IIoT systems (Industrial IoT — IoT for industry)
  • Reverse-engineer signals to connect legacy measuring instruments and machines to digital systems
  • Install Machine Vision cameras and design lighting tailored to the inspection task
  • Control slide rails and part-measuring mechanisms through PLCs, with calibration-system adjustments

What you receive

  • Scope of Work document specifying installation points, equipment and exclusions
  • Acceptance criteria used to test the system before handover
  • Hardware and software installed and configured according to the Scope of Work
  • User manual
  • Training for on-site users

Suitable for: Factories or organizations that have equipment but no installation team, need cameras or sensors to work with existing power and networks, or require multiple installation points, such as production-line workstations or riverside water-level stations

Our process

1

Site survey

Check lighting, power, network and the actual installation area, then document the scope and acceptance criteria

2

Installation

Install hardware, run wiring and configure software to the agreed design during permitted site-access windows

3

Testing

Test the system using real parts or site conditions against the acceptance criteria, and resolve any failed items before handover

4

Handover

Hand over the system with a user manual and train on-site users within the agreed scope

Frequently Asked Questions

What should we prepare before your team visits the site?

Prepare the intended installation locations, site photographs and a contact person from your team. We check lighting, power and network conditions on site, then document the scope before installation begins.

What systems has Inspektion installed?

In 2026, we installed 20 DoRare Station units along rivers in 4 Thai provinces; 5 sites included weather stations. Handover included user manuals and a 24-month hardware and software warranty document. That year, we also installed Task Cam at an actual workstation of a Thai automotive parts manufacturer, where a POC trial (before full deployment) is ongoing.

How long does installation take before the system can be used?

Timing depends on the number of installation points and system complexity. We provide a schedule after the site survey. We do not yet have a supported duration figure specifically for installation work. A related example is a 7-station production counter in 2024: design, development and acceptance-list testing took approximately 2 months (August–September 2024), excluding on-site installation.

Are training and ongoing support available after installation?

Yes, when included in the scope. Training and manuals are defined in each project’s Scope of Work and acceptance criteria. Post-installation support follows the agreed scope, or can be covered by a separate annual maintenance contract.

When is the installation service unsuitable?

Installation is unsuitable when the required cameras, sensors or software are not yet clear. Start with consulting and system design in that case. Installation does not include long-term maintenance; if the system needs ongoing support over several years, plan an annual maintenance contract alongside it.
